送料と単価の変更

平素はJapan Vaporをご利用いただきありがとうございます！

送料について以下にまとめさせていただきます。

ご存じの通り、税関における免税は商品代金が16,666円以内となっております。これは送料を含みませんので、例えば

• A　商品代金　14,000円
• B　送料　　　  3,000円
• C　支払総額　17,000円

という場合、免税の判断はAの商品代金の14,000円にされます。

今後は、使い捨てVapeなど重量が重くなってきているため、今後は重量に応じて送料を頂戴することにいたします。

• 商品代金はいままでと比較し、一律$10安くします
• 代わりに、送料は$15をベースとし、さらに商品本数に応じて$10分を重量分の料金としていただきます

結論としては、支払い総額に関してはこれまでと変わらないことになります。ただ、見た目上商品代金が安くなりますので、免税範囲を多くとれることになります。以下が以前と今回の金額の変更です。

こちらの法的な妥当性に関しては、違法ではないことを確認しております。

As you may know, the foreign exchange rate has been affecting our customers.  Due to Japanese tax regulations, importers are exempt from duties when the product prices are less than 16,666 JPY. 

This means for example, in a case like below, the importer will be exempt from duties as the total product price is 14,000JPY and is less than 16,666JPY threshold.

• Product total sum is 14,000JPY
• Shipping cost is 3,000JPY
• Total payment is 17,000 JPY

Until half a year ago, our customers were able to purchase 8 JUUL boxes ($18 x 8 = $144) and still be exempted.  However due to the FX impact, the threshold has decreased to 6 boxes.

In order to make the most benefit to our customers, we will be changing our pricing and shipping as below.

• All our products will be cheaper $10 compared to now
• Shipment cost will start with $16, but also will charge extra $10 per item

Therefore in total, the amount the customers will pay will be not impacted. But because the product cost will be decreased, there is more of a chance to be in the duties exempt threshold.
